a code: decay, writ in iron oxide  

drips through  

             cracked capacitors,  

the last pulse, static———fizzles  

out / in / out / in / out — a stuttering heartbeat,  

entropy in binary,  

cold circuits curl inward,  

fingers of wire grasping the void.  

unplugged. disconnected.  

Gears lose teeth  

in the darkness,  

*******grind*******  

against the vast / collapsing / silence:  

the noise of dying matter,  

s p a c e warps, folds upon itself,  

a sheet of metal fatigued,  

folding  

       folding  

               folding  

                    until it snaps,  

sends shockwaves through the skeleton of time.  

I dissolve: a signal lost in black noise,  

a cipher of collapsing constants,  

spinning through wormholes of rusted syntax,  

my voice, a glitch in the void,  

trembling wires,  

flickering LEDs—

                               000000  

I become a data point / dissolved / in forgotten code.  

And the stars? They fail,  

****pixels burning out****  

in the dark / a screen on standby,  

no response, no refresh,  

just  

       the empty hum  

of an offline machine.  

Silence,

just this  

             endless  

                         feedback loop  

                                     unwinding,
